SUMMARY:Fall Fizz & Fare - Redmont Hotel
DESCRIPTION:The Fall Fizz and Fare Festival will take place Friday\, September 29\, 2017 from 7-10pm on the mezzanine of the historic Redmont Hotel. There will be tastings of sparkling wine and local craft beer\, hence the "fizz"\, and local chefs will provide servings of their favorite dishes to pair\, hence the "fare". Participating restaurants are GianMarco's\, El Barrio\, Homewood Gourmet\, Bare Naked Noodles\, Vecchia Pizzeria and Mercato\, Savoie Catering\, Nothing Bundt Cakes\, and Moss Rock Tacos and Tequila. Local craft beer from Cahaba Brewing and Fairhope Brewing and sparkling wines and champagnes from Grassroots Wine.\r \n \r \n \r \n \r \n All proceeds will benefit the Hope for Autumn Foundation\, a registered 501(c)3 public charity\, which was founded in early 2012 with the purpose of financially assisting Alabama families battling childhood cancer\, funding local childhood cancer research\, and raising awareness. Hope for Autumn Foundation pays mortgages\, rent\, utility bills\, medical bills\, etc\, so that families can focus on caring for their child. Hope for Autumn Foundation funds specific research which seeks new and innovative therapies for children whose cancer has been unresponsive to traditional therapies. Finally\, Hope for Autumn Foundation raises awareness of childhood cancer through our Give Hope Day in area schools.
